New Acropolis Slovakia organised a lecture about the great philosopher and poet Rabindranath Tagore. He began writing poems at the age of eight, published his first articles at the age of fourteen, and lectured on music at the age of seventeen. The Bengali philosopher Rabindranath Tagore left us a huge amount of work, including poetry, prose, plays, musical compositions and songs, enriching literature and dramatic work with new forms. Towards the end of his life, he began to devote himself to the visual arts and created over two thousand paintings. He also illustrated his collections of poems. His life is interwoven with love for people and life. He had an immense outlook and devoted himself to many areas. In India, he founded a school where anyone could be educated, ed Bengali culture, and set a moral example in difficult political situations. He traveled and lectured in Europe, Japan, and the USA.
