A lecture entitled “Japan – Man and Nature” was held by the New Acropolis in Zagreb.

The audience had an opportunity to hear about the relationship of the ancient Japanese people toward nature, and the very influence it has left today in numerous festivals observed throughout the year, which follow the rhythms of nature.

The influence of Shintoism, the indigenous religion of Japan, was particularly reflected in this relationship. All of nature was alive and interconnected, and man, as a part of it, could learn from its laws.
