A day of service and humanity: volunteering activity with special youths

On Tuesday 10 December, of New Acropolis San Cristobal reaffirmed their commitment to society through a meaningful volunteering activity, full of joy, empathy and mutual learning. The day, held at the ASOGATA facilities, was dedicated to a group of young people with Down syndrome, who participated in various activities designed to promote their development, creativity and well-being.

The activity included painting workshops, recreation and a very special space for equine therapy, where participants were able to interact with horses in a safe and loving environment. Each activity was aimed at stimulating motor, emotional and social skills, while reinforcing their self-esteem and confidence.

Beyond the activities, this day was an opportunity to experience the value of solidarity and social responsibility. The volunteers expressed how gratifying it was to contribute their time and skills to this special group, who, with their joy and authenticity, left an indelible mark on each of them.

New Acropolis San Cristobal would like to thank all the participants and collaborators who made this activity possible. Thanks to their enthusiasm and dedication, this day became a space for human encounter and an example of the positive impact we can generate when we work together for the common good.

This experience motivates us to continue developing initiatives that promote volunteering as a tool to build a more caring and humane world.
