Fables and Virtues a reading club for thoughtful souls (Australia) 6r5p3z
Fables & Virtues reading club.
We delved into Aesop’s fable of the Peacock and the Crane and uncovered various layers of meaning. Surprisingly, the Peacock did not remain the apparent villain, nor did the
Crane stays the clear hero. Exploring different perspectives led us to reflect on the lessons each character offers.
We discovered that the peacock side of our personality must shed its arrogance to embrace humility and unity, while the crane side calls for greater comion toward those exhibiting peacock-like traits. Our reading club session, which lasted over an hour and a half and was marked by open-mindedness and enthusiastic participation, revealed these powerful lessons and challenged us to grow both individually and collectively.
