Volunteers from the San Salvador branch of New Acropolis ed in a day of cleaning and hiking in the Peñón de Comasagua, in the La Libertad istrative district. During the 2 km walk, the volunteers collected a large amount of rubbish, including glass containers, plastics and drinks cans. The aim of the activity was to improve the tourist area and to raise awareness about the importance of caring for the environment. The local community thanked the volunteers for their work and it is hoped that more people will in future initiatives to keep the country’s tourist attractions clean. 3e1y40
