This talk shed some light on the fundamental aspects of the Spartans’ existence, culture, organisation. What were the human values that motivated this people and what can we apply today in practice in our modern context? Among others, we discussed the value of initiation into society and the inner development necessary to become warriors. In a modern context, this can help us to become active citizens who take responsibility for themselves and society as a whole.
