In an online talk given by Sabine Leitner, the speaker provided fascinating details about the hidden life of bees and their immensely important role in nature and in relation to human existence. The speaker shared video footage of the two beehives currently at our Melissa Bee Sanctuary, inspiring others to become interested in bees and encouraging them to take up beekeeping. The event was well attended and was followed by a lively question and answer session at the end.
